I found a prayer while skulking through the streets one Saturday morning. A prayer by someone I don't know for someone I've never met. Nevertheless, if you carry something with you long enough, it gains meaning in the same way that iron gathers rust. It is, after all, the summation of someone's hopes and fears. And the latter is all too present, and the former is all too necessary.

I don't even know an Amy anymore, but I suppose I don't need to.

Honestly, I don't know what else to say. The deeper meaning behind it is summarized in the second title; it's sad; it's wet. The tale behind the inspiration for this album is not fit for public telling. And this won't change a bloody thing. But a sad and wet song is better than no song.
